CHAPTER 01 · THE CHALLENGE

Challenges Universities Face Every Academic Year

Before discussing features, let us look at the recurring challenges faced by student affairs and management teams. These are the problems CARD2U Campus is designed to address directly.

01

Plastic student / staff ID cards are easily lost

High costs for reissuing cards every academic year, with limited ability to verify actual usage rights.

02

Campus-area discounts are fragmented across separate systems

Cafeterias, cooperatives, copy shops, and partner merchants manage discounts independently, with no common standard for verifying student eligibility.

03

Activity / volunteer hours are recorded on paper

Attendance and student activity hours are recorded manually, making historical verification difficult and cross-faculty consolidation impractical.

04

Difficult to communicate with the international community

Exchange students, researchers, and international faculty receive limited information because signage and Q&A channels are only available in Thai and English.

05

No centralized campus safety system

Emergencies in dormitories, academic buildings, or parking areas may reach security personnel late, with no visible status tracking for the person reporting the incident.

06

Management lacks a university-wide overview

Student and staff behavior and benefit-usage data are spread across departments, with no central data source for policy decisions.

02
CHAPTER 02 · STUDENTS, FACULTY & STAFF

One app that stays with you all semester

From the first day on campus to graduation — one digital ID that works both on and off campus.

Thai · English · Chinese · Korean · Russian · Hindi — welcoming exchange students and international personnel of all nationalities.

03
CHAPTER 03 · MERCHANTS & CAMPUS PARTNERS

Merchants and partner organizations can grant benefits while the university retains control at every step.

Cafeterias, cooperatives, bookstores, copy shops, and off-campus partners can join and award points independently, while Student Affairs can review and approve every step.

MCH 01

Merchant Registration & Approval

Merchants and organizations submit applications online with complete documents. Student Affairs reviews and approves them from a single command center.

MCH 02

In-Store Sales Recording

Staff can award points to students and personnel from a mobile device, with autofill member search so the full card number does not need to be entered.

MCH 03

Connect the Merchant LINE OA

Merchants and organizations can connect their own LINE Login/LIFF to the system to communicate promotions directly to students.

MCH 04

Real-Time Benefit Usage Tracking

Student Affairs can view participating merchants, spending, and pending requests at any time.

04

CHAPTER 05 · EVALUATION CRITERIA

Why CARD2U Campus

More than a points app, it is a platform that lets the university manage every community touchpoint from one place.

01

Already in Use — Not Just a Plan on Paper

The system has been developed and deployed in shopping malls. Every feature has been tested in real use and can be adapted to the university context without waiting for a new build from scratch.

02

The Entire Community in One System

Students, faculty, staff, merchants, and Student Affairs work from one shared data foundation instead of multiple separate systems.

03

Practical AI That Delivers

Ask AI lets management query data in natural language · Chatbot + Avatar answers student questions · Automatic language translation.

04

Safety First

Real-time SOS and incident reporting provide greater confidence for students, parents, and staff.

05

Ready for an International Community

Supports 6 languages, welcoming exchange students, researchers, and international personnel from their first day at the university.

06

Customizable to Institutional Policies

The source code is developed and owned in-house rather than provided as a fixed SaaS product. Business rules and identity can be customized to each university’s policies.

06
CHAPTER 06 · PROPOSED COLLABORATION MODELS

Choose the collaboration model that fits the university’s readiness

The team can tailor the details and scope to each institution’s size, budget, and policies through joint discussion.

Recommended for Getting Started
MODEL 01

Pilot Project

  • Pilot in selected faculties or dormitories before wider rollout
  • Test membership card, points, and SOS features first
  • Collect real results to support the decision to scale
MODEL 02

Full University-Wide Deployment

  • Enable all 3 systems across every faculty and department
  • Customize visual identity, colors, and logo to the university
  • Connect to existing student/staff databases
MODEL 03

Institution-Specific Development

  • Add specialized features such as library/classroom reservations
  • Customize business rules according to each institution’s regulations
  • Ongoing development support based on mutual agreement
CONCLUSION

Submitted for Your Consideration

The CARD2U team would be pleased to present the system and its features in depth to the university executive committee or Student Affairs Division, and tailor the proposal to the institution’s specific context. If the university wishes to proceed, the team is ready to meet and demonstrate the live system at a convenient date and time.
